CLUB RULES.
revised as from february 2010
The following club
rules apply to both members and non -members for the duration
of the event,
By participating or spectating at our event you agree to abide
by the rules set out below.
THE COLOURED BAND PROVIDED MUST BE VISIBLE ON YOUR WRIST
1.All riders must be phsically and mentally fit to enter the practice
enduro
session.A disclaimer must be signed before participating in the
practice event.
2.All riders must wear the following protective clothing
a.helmet ( at all times whilst on a bike)preferably gold stamped/E
marked
b.protective mx boots or safety boot. NO TRAINERS!!!!!!!!!!
c.long sleeve shirt/jersey etc.
d.goggles or eye protection
e.whilst we recommend body armour,knee/elbow pads etc these are
not mandatory.
f. NO HIGH VISIBILITY JACKETS to be worn(other than officials)
3.Acceptable machines: any quad,enduro or trailbike and
at the moment mx bike in a safe condition.Age limits over 16's (14
and over with parent/guardian riding)
We have the right to refuse entry if the bike appears to be unsafe
3a. There will be random noise testing at our events and 2010 guidelines
are 94dba
IF YOUR EXHAUST IS TOO LOUD OR BECOMES TOO LOUD DURING THE DAY WE
WILL ASK YOU TO LEAVE.

4.Tyres-all tyres accepted.
5. No engines to be started until 15 mins before the sighting
lap which is normally at 10.30am.Please ask on arrival track times
for the day
6. Course marking. The ENDUROLAND course is renowned for
being the best marked out circuit in the country, it is strictly
one way and marked with red/white barrier tape and arrows.At the
home(Adstone) venue there are stewardship areas that are clearly
marked.notable a width of 6 metres from the hedgerows and 2m in
places.please do not ride on these areas as they are set aside for
wild flowers and wildlife.If in any doubt STOP and ask a marshal.
Please follow the marked course only-Under no circumstances ride
against the flow of the course or stop on the course - if you have
an EMERGENCY and have to stop please pull outside/off the track.
Please only ENTER and EXIT the track where marked.IE PITS AND START.
If for any reason you BREAK the tape inform a mashall who will rectify
this.
IF THERE IS A SECTION OF THE COURSE THAT YOU FIND TO HARD PLEASE
INFORM A MARSHAL WHO GIVE YOU AN ALTERNATIVE ROUTE IF AN EASY ROUTE
HAS NOT BEEN PROVIDED.
The idea of our club is to allow both novices and race aces to ride
together for training and fitness and to allow less experienced
riders to gain experience and confidence from the race club riders.
7.Pits and Car park
WALKING PACE- 5MPH AT ALL TIMES IN THE PITS AND CARK PARK
WE WILL NOT TOLERATE EXCESSIVE SPEED OR DANGEROUS RIDING IN THESE
AREAS
8.Spectators,Children and Pets
Whilst we welcome spectators,children and pets please be aware of
vehicles moving around the area at all times-especially bikes leaving
the designated track,Dogs must be on a lead at all times and not
left in vehicles for excessive amounts of time-cars and vans can
get very HOT,
9.Rubbish and Litter
Please take your rubbish home with you we run an enduro practice
not a litter picking team.
10.Track take down-we would appreciate any help with taking
down the tape/markers at the end of our sunday session-as allowing
it to remain for an extra day counts against our designated planning
days.
All ADDITIONAL riders will now be charged current day
rates,no exceptions.
Anyone found to be riding someone elses bikes that has
not signed on will be banned from the club along with the bike owner.
You have been WARNED.
BIKE RECOVERY.........please wait for a marshal in the
event that your bike becomes immobile.we will tow you back to the
pits.
The most important rule - HAVE A SAFE AND ENJOYABLE DAY!
